The Dedman Lecture: A Conversation with Three ESD Alumni Honored as People Newspapers’ 2026 20 Under 40
The Dedman Lecture Series gives ESD upperclassmen the chance to hear firsthand from individuals about how their life experiences have shaped them and led them to where they are today. This year, that conversation features three ESD alumni who were recently named to People Newspapers’ 2026 20 Under 40 — an annual recognition of young professionals making a lasting impact across the DFW area.

Meet the Panel
Lauren Chapman Bellemare ‘05 left a 15-year corporate career to found L’Heritage Fine Jewelry, a Dallas-based brand built on heirloom-inspired pieces meant to be passed down through generations. Her path combined a business degree from USC, an MBA and master’s in art administration from SMU, and a graduate gemologist certification — training she’s channeled into building a business rooted in craftsmanship and legacy.
Taylor Frank ‘07 leads Eiseman Jewels as president, where he’s built a reputation for service-first leadership in the luxury jewelry and timepiece industry. A graduate of both Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business and SMU’s Cox School of Business, Frank has stayed deeply rooted in the Park Cities community he grew up in, guided by a strong sense of responsibility to give others a voice.
Ross Mulford ‘08 founded Blue Thunder Management in 2020, growing it into a company spanning five divisions. Named for his grandfather’s boat, the company reflects a legacy Mulford carries forward from both of his grandfathers. Before launching his entrepreneurial career, Mulford taught 9th-grade Spanish through Teach For America in Houston.
