When and where will class reunions be hosted?
Class reunion parties for the 0s and 5s (1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020) and our all-alumni social for non-reunion years will be hosted together on Saturday, March 8, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Gilley’s Dallas.
Is there a cost to attend the Alumni Weekend events?
All events hosted by the ESD Alumni Association, including the class reunion parties for the 0s and 5s, are free to attend for you and a guest.
If you plan to attend the ESDPA Auction events at Gilley’s on Saturday, March 8, you must purchase a ticket. Tickets can be purchased online at esdallas.org/auction.
What is the ESD Parents' Association Auction?
Annually, the ESD Parents’ Association hosts a live auction, a fundraising event where a portion of the proceeds raised support departments and initiatives for the school. Tickets must be purchased to attend this portion of Saturday’s events. Tickets include drinks, food stations, and funkadelic surprises - inclduing the Show, starring ESD current and former parents, alumni, and faculty!

Will there be food and drinks at the Alumni Weekend events?
Yes! There will be light appetizers and drinks served at the Reception on Friday, March 7, immediately following the Alumni Chapel.
On Saturday, March 8, heavy appetizers will be served during the all-alumni social and 0s and 5s class reunion parties. There will be an open bar for all alumni and guests who are 21+ years old.
Can I bring additional members of my family to the Alumni Weekend events?
Campus will be open for our Alumni Weekend events on Friday, March 7, to you and your family, including children.
Our All-Alumni Social and 0s and 5s Class Reunion Parties on Saturday, March 8, at Gilley’s Dallas are limited to you and one guest.
Can I attend the Alumni Weekend events if it is not my reunion year?
Yes! All of our Alumni Weekend events are open to all alumni to attend.
What should I wear to the Alumni Weekend events?
The suggested attire for the events on campus at ESD on Friday, March 7, is smart casual.
For the all-alumni social and 0s and 5s class reunion parties on Saturday, March 8, the suggested attire is either dressy casual or “Disco meets Dallas”! For “Disco Meets Dallas”, think Rhinestone Cowboys and Cowgirls of the 70’s: inspired by big hair, sequins, bell bottoms, boots, some fringe, retro sunglasses, cowboy hats, and maybe even some feathers like the photo below!
Will the annual golf and tennis tournaments be hosted this year?
Yes; typically, the tournaments are scheduled around our Alumni Weekend events. However this year, they will be hosted later in the spring.
The Spring Swing Golf Tournament will be hosted on Monday, May 5, and the Tennis & Pickleball Tournaments will be hosted on Friday, May 9.
