When is the Alumni Giving Day?
The Alumni Giving Day will officially begin on Wednesday, April 22,starting at 9:00 a.m. CT and running through 9:00 p.m. CT.
Who can make a gift on the Alumni Giving Day?
The giving day is open to all ESD alumni! Alumni who are celebrating their reunion year (1s and 6s) can also give in honor of their class reunion on the giving day.
What does my gift support?
All gifts made on the Alumni Giving Day support The ESD Fund. The ESD Fund, or annual fund, supports ESD’s operational budget, helping to provide programming and resources to teachers and students at ESD. Tuition covers 80% of the cost for an ESD education; gifts to The ESD Fund help support the marginal difference.
Gifts can be made in honor of a former teacher, and can also be designated to one of eight areas of support (i.e. Tuition Assistance, Faculty Professional Development, Academic Programs).
What are the incentives/challenges for the Alumni Giving Day?
Throughout the Alumni Giving Day on Wednesday, April 22, we will have several opportunities to win special prizes! Gifts made during the below time frames will be eligable to receive a giveaway prize - this is a way for us to say thank you for supporting ESD! Learn more on our challenges page.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Gifts are tax-deductible less the fair market value (FMV) of any goods or services received.
