Due to the unfavorable weather forecast, the Alumni Homecoming Tailgate scheduled for this Friday, October 24, has been cancelled.
While we are disappointed that we are unable to celebrate this special tradition in person, the safety of our community is our top priority. Please note that the Alumni Homecoming Tailgate event will not be rescheduled.
Despite the cancellation, we still want to connect and share in our annual Homecoming tradition!
We’re pivoting the celebration online; follow us on Instagram (@ESDAlumni) this Friday, October 24, for a special Senior Takeover of our account! You can also look forward to interactive content and an opportunity to win a prize for participating!

Join us for our Alumni Homecoming Tailgate!
Join us for our annual Alumni Homecoming Tailgate on Friday, October 24, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on the Nickell Dining Terrace at ESD! Return to the nest for one of our most treasured school traditions, our annual Homecoming Football Game against St. John’s (Houston).
Don’t miss the opportunity to reconnect with friends and former teachers, along with hearing updates on ESD and our Alumni Association from our Head of School, Dave Baad, and Alumni Board President, Mark Goode!
Looking to bring the family? Our annual ESD Community Picnic is happening at the same time, so there will be plenty of activities for your kids to enjoy!
Food and drinks will be served at the tailgate before you head over to the Homecoming football game, along with a sweet treat from the ESD Alumni Association!
We can’t wait to welcome you back to the nest, Eagles!
