About
Join us for our Alumni Culture & Community Celebration!
Join us for a special celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with alumna Luisa Navarro ‘08! In honor of Mexican culture and Día de Muertos, Luisa will be signing copies of her debut book, Mexico’s Day of the Dead: A Celebration of Life Through Stories and Photos.
Luisa is a Mexican-American storyteller and creator of the blog and lifestyle brand, Mexico In My Pocket. A graduate of Columbia Journalism School, she worked as a producer for major network news before opening her beautiful gift shop in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with Luisa, learn more about Día de Muertos, and celebrate her incredible accomplishment. Signed copies of Mexico’s Day of the Dead will be available for purchase, along with a special gift from Cocoandré, Chocolatier & Horchateria.
Lunch bites and refreshments will be served.
We look forward to seeing you there!
